Very fortunate to find this magnificent affordable gem nestled in the heart of one of Chicago's coolest neighborhoods during a busy weekend in Chi-Town. Updated minimalist decor and very, very attentive housekeeping, made this tiny space one block west of the Magnificent Mile, and a 10 minute walk east to the lake, a great place to rest nightly after a busy day of work and sightseeing.

Don’t go there! We’ve got huge problems with our rooms and they promised us a refund. Nothing happened and they don’t answer anymore on booking.com. If they do so, I am willing to change my reviews. But this is just ridiculous and disappointing!

Small rooms but they were clean and the bed was really comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful location is great. It was a beautiful day to be by the lake as well as the river. Only part I wasn't happy with was size of the room

The room was ok. We did not receive maid service any of the 3 days we were there. The elevator was broke and had to climb 16 flights of stairs up and down. The restaurant pictured is closed. Coffee was open and served good coffee. We asked for 30 min extra checkout and we’re refused. Overall I would skip this hotel.

This isn't a 4 star hotel or even 3. The location is great. However the room was *SO* tiny, there was literally not a surface anywhere to put something on. There was a tiny endtable between the beds with the phone on it and underneath this was a coffeemaker, which was great except there was nowhere to put it! Similarly the bathroom had no counter space whatsover. And the room was so small that the bathroom door can't even open or lock, it's a sliding pocket door that doesn't really close all the way and gives no privacy. Finally no minifridge in the basic rooms, apparently that is an upgrade. For a hotel catering to tourists this is not acceptable. Finally there are two very slow old elevators each limited to five passengers. The entirely of our 4 day stay one of the elevators was out of order, which meant waits of sometimes 15 minutes to get an elevator going up. Management needs to do better.
